There are many gambling and card games in casinos right now, and blackjack deserves a special mention. It is available not only in land-based gambling houses, but also in online casinos. The essence of the game is very simple, the player needs to dial the amount of 21 or as close to that number as possible.

As for the value of the cards, everything is very simple, as from 2 to 9 all goes according to the number, and from 10 to the King – the value of 10 points. An Ace can be either 1 or 11 points.

The gameplay begins with the players placing a bet. The dealer then gives the player 2 cards face down and then:

1. the player looks and if the situation demands it, a card can be fetched.
2. Skip, in order to keep the available combination.
3. Doubling up is worthwhile if it is necessary to get a card and the bet is increased by 2. 
4. Split – it means that there are 2 identical cards in hands, which should be split.

And after that the player makes a move or skips.

For example, if the first cards are an Ace and a card with a value of 10 points, then it’s blackjack. Then the game wins automatically, but the dealer may also have the same game. Then it’s a draw.

More often than not, blackjack can be played with more than one opponent at a time. This adds interest, and the betting amount in the pot increases, so the winnings can be larger.  

Important features to be aware of

Split

If a player uses this feature, the pot is divided into 2 hands. And in doing so, each hand gets another card. And the game has an arrow that points to the active card.

Insurance

This feature allows you to protect yourself in a Dealer’s Blackjack situation. If the dealer’s first card to be dealt is an Ace, you may use this option. It should be noted that insurance is assessed at 50% of the total amount, and then the bet is added automatically.

And in case the dealer has blackjack, the insurance pays 2:1, i.e. the player loses only his initial bet. But if the dealer doesn’t have 21, the player loses the insurance bet, and the gameplay continues with the original bet.
